I am a keen cyclist and lucky to be able to commute to work, which is great in the summer. I have to admit though, that I’ve turned into a bit of a fair weather cyclist recently. I enjoy both on and off road cycling, so will find any excuse for a trip over to the Isle of Wight (a favourite haunt for any keen cyclist). Whilst on holiday in 2007 I managed to catch the 1st & 2nd stages (from London to Canterbury ) of the Tour de France when it came to England,– that was a tremendous experience.
As an alternative to cycling I have taken up running to keep fit. I am looking to run my first 10k race soon, and maybe even a half marathon if my Nike+ trainer says I am fit enough! All of which I could not do without the motivational powers of music, of which I have a broad spectrum of taste as the rest of office have discovered!
I find a trip to London to any of the galleries is always a good day out (squeezed in before Chelsea game at Stamford Bridge). It’s great to see the original masters. I particularly like the Pop Art movement. Of course it’s always good to see your own work in its final finished format, from brochures, advertisements, corporate branding, point of sale, mailers, to animated banners.
