HHC Lewis produces case study video for Emerson

A recent campaign to promote the use of Emerson Process Management’s PlantWeb digital architecture within the food and beverage industry gave HHC Lewis the perfect opportunity to show off its script writing, directing and production skills for the latest of Emerson’s industrial application videos.

ZT Kruszwica, part of Bunge – the world’s largest producer of oilseed and bottled vegetable oils – selected Emerson’s digital automation solution for their new rapeseed oil processing plant in Kruszwica, Poland. This new technology enabled ZT Kruszwica to achieve improved operating efficiency and reduced costs for energy and other utilities usage. 

HHC Lewis was asked by Emerson to promote this success story. Working closely with both client and customer, we gained exclusive access to the plant and staff enabling us to create a broad range of marketing materials for Emerson including a technical article, press release, application note, application photographs and video case study.

The video case study includes interviews with a company director, plant management and system operators, all undertaken in the local language. We arranged transcription and translation of the interviews, before producing a final storyboard for the editing company. Additional `b-roll’ footage of the storage, blending and packaging sections of the plant obtained during the site visit was then selected. Carefully scripted narration and captions bring the final eight minute video to life.

Client and customer approvals were obtained for all the marketing materials produced and the technical article was placed in trade and technical magazines including Control Engineering Poland, Innovations in Processing & Packaging (Europe), and The Engineer (UK). The supporting press release was then distributed globally, gaining further exposure in an extended range of print and online media. The video was posted on the Emerson Process Management website and is used by Emerson’s Food & Beverage sales team.
